You can set a character goal and time to get yourself to crank out a quota. Every time you stop typing though, the screen will start turning red and a "negative reinforcement" will happen - which you can chose from a pop up box, an alarm, or self-deletion.
It got me to come up with some stuff and keep going last year, when otherwise I would have been staring at a blank screen for like ten minutes.

Wow I just came on here to post the link myself! Very, very useful application. I think I may pay the $10 for the desktop version to show my support for it. The thing I like about the desktop version is that you don't have to go online so you wont get distracted by all the internet goodness out there.
