The quanlet is down. Us (the southside) are busy at Saxby's wrting our little hearts out while the Northwest group is taking a break before starting again. So the word war begins. We have 5 people gathered working hard to win the race. So who will write more?? We are detirmined, we are focused and we are ready for battle!!! |

Same here, I went from 1080 to 19something-or-other so I got about a good 900 words down.

So when all is said and done we will have to take the total number of words among each group and divide it by the number of writers to come up with the avegage percentage of words per person to detirmine a winner (confused yet cause I am?)
Laura A just passed five thousand and the rest of us are still going. Not mention I am an insomniac so Northwest prepare to go down!

Actually right now we're south east. Saxby's on Horizon & Horizon off the 95.
Wed. we will be meeting at the Starbucks inside the Barnes & Noble on Stephanie though, not much but a bit closer to Southwest.

I think I'm about as far south as you could possibly get, plus the Southside is currently kicking tail (translate " your ass") so I'm proud to represent the all powerful Southside.
The 95 divides the valley pretty evenly, we could use that.

Okay, let's be scientific about this shall we? Number of people will affect our word counts, so I say that at the end of each week we tally up our regions words and then divide by the number of people in our region. Which ever side had the largest average number of words gets to laugh and point at the other team. What do you say?

It's only if people want to join "our North Side" or "their south side" (notice the cap problem... LOL) if you work on one side of town and claim that as where you can write more, that works just as much as if you claim the side you live on. Whatever your reasons are, remember join or don't join, but the winner will have braggin rights for a year, but no bad mouthing the otherside meanly!!! All in good fun!!! Now remember though we Northsiders have Mercedes (if she is willing to jump in) Plus we have some other great people. I will start a post where you pick your side. We will also worry about doing % verses true numbers bc if one side only gets 3 people and the other gets 7 it's not fair to go by straight numbers.... OH TEACHER? I mean mean Emily -- will you be willing to work that math out for us (or someone else besides me who almost failed math a couple of times)

I went to Rejavanate today and met Laura, Leah, and some other great folks. I didn't have a laptop with me, so I left to go home and write. I live in the NW. Do I join that group? If so, how? This is my first post, so forgive me if I post it in the wrong spot. I'd love to join the NW group as I live near Summerlin and work way, way in the NW. I wrote today, over 1,800 words! Yaaaaaaaay!

Oh ms Laura it appears us SouthSiders are having the same cap problem you have when we are refererring to the northsiders.
And bragging rights for the whole year..Keep in mind you have Mercedes but if and when I convince the love of my life to join the site then we will have us a war....Not to mention we have Laura Alton on our side so HA...Bring it northsiders....Because in the end it is the Southside who will rule supreme..
As Laura has stated this is all in fun. and just because we pick one side or the other does not mean I will not be driving myself all over town to see everyone..(whispers,,even the northsiders)...
