It's now Nov 2 for me and the site has been pretty much up and running ALL FREAKING DAY. This astronaut in Belarus is a keeper ;)
Congrats on surviving Nov 1, Nano!

That astronaut deserves many gold stars. The seasoned vets at today's write-ins were also commenting on how the site was running yesterday.
Sure things were slower than normal....but the fact that we eventually SEE the pages and we could POST and READ and do all these things without getting an error and seeing the blue drupal drop (basically waiting three days or so before the site would even function). It' such a huge and noticeable difference compared to previous November 1st.
Congratulations and a HUGE thank you.

I agree.
The site is running better this year!
Minor glitches. That's to be expected. But at least I've been able to stay on the site to update my wordcount and get my forums fix.
Record number! And we're still up and running!
Thanks, Staff.

Looks like the posting delays are straightening themselves out...and everything else I've seen is working...time to say THANK YOU to all of the back-end team who work so hard on this site! You are appreciated more than you know!
