So, there are lots of blood-thirsty novelists out there. Who's got the most deaths so far?

(Probably best to keep this relatively detail light for those of us with weak stomachs and penchant for happy endings :-)

So far I've just got one guy dead from a heart attack; however I do have a man-eating plant starting to grow and mature, so I'm sure it won't be long till I've got a few more deaths :)

No body count yet... you know what just occured to me is the question. Can you have a body count if said body is immortal? ala... Claire Bennet?

*evil idea* *Laughter*

Does it count if a person you refer to a lot was dead before the story starts?

It's not part of my NaNo story, but part of the one I've been working on for ages.

I just wiped out a system of about 25 billion people with a supernova.

Tupperware parties of the future have gotten a LOT more advanced.

Also, no notable deaths yet - but there will probably be one or two by the end.

Only 1 death and "undeath" so far.
I'm "undeading" characters ungrammatically :)

I'm guessing that Tupperware cyborgs come in fashion colours and with replacement lids that 'burp' :D

Three deaths implied so far... Two induced by gravity and one un-specified.

But it's ok, she got better. *laughter*

I killed off an entire society of sentient velociraptors except for two at the start of my story. Also, a dog. The velociraptors were hungry when they reached the present day.

Uhh...Considering I have a war running in the background, and within the first 100 words, I'd blown up a town...*scratches head* I lost track.

No body count as yet, but I plan to kill my MC a couple times :)

No doubt once he gets to the war, middle ages and depression eras the bodies will start piling up :)

well low and behold thanks to a story change... damn little nano devils pulling that one me...

I have succeeded in just my prologue in killing off almost an entire planet; fauna included and in the same foul swoop induced this planet into slavery, debauchery and trade of slaves.. Brilliant I think..

Out of curiosity, does anybody have a "gotta kill em all" style novel?
You know, the ones where the main character needs to travel the universe/world/city finding and killing the alien warlords/terrorist leaders/local video store members one by one because they enslaved the human race/killed somebody's sister/rented Norbert and enjoyed it?
