Any writers in CC or Italian Market area in Philly? Looking for writing buddies to hang out in coffee shops a few days. Can't seem to find the info I need on here. New to the site.

I'm in South Philly but I work in Old City. I could easily make it for a CC meetup. I also know a few really good places in South Philly for writing if anyone is interested.

I live in the Art Muesem/Spring Garden area and work in CC and would be willing to hang out in a coffee shop and type with fellow writers!

Have you been to ultimo yet at 15th and mifflin? Their coffee is amazing, plus they power outlets and free wi-fi. Let me know if you ever want to get together for a writing session.

I didn't even know that existed--but I'm glad I do now. I think I'll check it out this Sunday for an end-of-week scramble for words.

I'm nearish to the Italian Market area and would love a write-in meetup whatever! Philly Java Co at 2nd and Christian seems to always have seating and has free wifi, ample outlets. Chapterhouse at 9th and Bainbridge is a good spot, too.

Hey! I'd love to meet up. I live in Old City, but anywhere in CC would be fine. Keep me in the loop if someone wants to meet up. Thanks to work, I'm basically weekends only but have one day off a week though it varies.

I will be writing tomorrow (Sunday) like a fiend since I want to hit 20,000 by the end of the weekend. Possibly at Old City Coffee if anyone wants to come with. The problem with Old City shops, though, is few have outlets.

By my count, there's at least 10 of us in CC/Olde City/Italian Market area, and we range from zero words (come on estephano!) to the tens of thousands. We need to get some write in's on the official calendar, don't you think? I'm sure everyone else's schedule is as nuts as mine, but I'll throw out a few suggestions. If anybody else has an interest in making any of the place/times, let's tell the ML's to put it on the official calendar. Deal?

Monday night and Thursday night are both good for me, and I can easily get anywhere between Market and South, Front and Broad. Also, Wednesday is Veteran's Day, so some of us have the day off. I'm thinking of hitting the Starbucks at 16th and Walnut at 11:00 a.m.

Weekends are best for me; Mondays and Tuesdays are no good. I live near Rittenhouse Square and would be able to travel anywhere in CC if it wasn't for the darned SEPTA strike.

I live on Chestnut not far from Rittenhouse and work in old city. There is Barnes and Noble and Borders. Not sure about the plug situation. Right now, I could only stay awhile. I pulled something and have trouble sitting for long. But if it wouldn't be distracting to having me standing up and sitting down a lot, I'd love a write in.
