I just made it in a word war. Well, actually, the word war left me six words short, but that wasn't such a burden to finish out. Eleven thousandth word (can't believe I'm writing this on day two): someone.

Hurrah! Last year I barely made it to 5k, as I didnt like my story and had no desire.
This year I actually like my story, and writing is fun for spare time :)

Hit 11k this morning, but I'm working my way up now...I'm surprised that I'm doing so well, frankly. Didn't expect to be this far in this early. :)

Day 3 of my first NaNo and I have just reached 11,000 words! I'm so incredibly happy and proud of myself I did a queer sort of victory dance in front of my flatmates, who know have more arguments than ever to think I'm insane.

Who cares? 11,000 words and I haven't run out of ideas or killed a character yet!

:)

*gasps* I've made it to 11338. Now I just need to do another 700 words or so to make my daily target of 3000 words.

I don't think I'll manage it today though. I'm tired. =_=
