Thanks so much to EVERYONE who showed up - next Monday the first round is totally on me, I had no idea so many people would show up!!
Carolyn - sorry we missed you - did you get a chance to come out?
Seriously - thanks so much everyone - I had a really, really, really bad day; beers & cheese fries + great conversation totally made my day. Writing may not have gotten done (I'm gonna try now) but this was probably the best therapy for a bad work day.

Also - update on Wednesday's write-in - NOT at the Saucer, but at The Covey at around 6:30 - the address is on the schedule, but just in case:

I'll be sitting in the 'bar' area in front of the big screen tv; you'll see the Indian girl in scrubs if you do manage to come on over. It's 'pint night' there so 2.50 for a delicious microbrew is a great reason to come on over!

I did at 6:30, but the place was packed, I didn't see anyone writing--I think I just got there way too early. Just a bunch of after-work-drinkers. Not sure I could write well there lol...I was also way tired and cranky and my knee hurt *whine* so just gave up and went home to write.
I will definitely be at the Ihop thing on Friday though! And back at B&N both Saturday and Sunday mornings when they open.
The Covey? I am not even sure if I know where that is. Maybe I will poke my head in there--it is closer to home, so I can run home for awhile, feed the dogs then go back out. That might be the ticket.

Aw, I'm sorry I missed you! I was running late and I got there around 6:50ish and the others that showed up were on laptops on the couches - I went out on the patio 'cause it was full - but next time I'm gonna try to get there earlier to snag extra couches/tables!

I hope you guys had a splendid weekend - especially for those of you able to make the NOWD! I missed it, so I'm settling for living vicariously by what I read on these forums!
This is just another reminder for tomorrow's write-in (11/16) at The Flying Saucer @ 6:30! Heck, at this point, come whenever you can, I plan on being there for a while! I already plan this time to aim for the patio area since it's cooler (temperature wise) and a tad quieter than inside.

Heya everyone - I hope you're all keeping warm - it's freeeezing outside today!
I'm at the Saucer and in the corner to the left of the entrance - I just didn't want to brave the patio today, even though there are heaters. I'm gonna wuss out and stay inside the Saucer for the evening!
Tonight is perfect for a Porter or a Stout - why don't you come on down? :)
