Who is keen? Where? When?

I'm so desperate for some socialisation/procrastination I'd almost suggest my place..

Hey there u_ne_korn,

Sounds like a plan. Anyone can gather a group any time they want to. Tonight - Tuesday would be good for me.

The library cafe would work, if that's ok with you. 6PM?

If not - just update here or send me a nono mail.

All tied up tonight, but tomorrow (Wens) night would be brill. Or both? We could have a constant presence at the Library Cafe ALL November.

Ok, that would probably be extreme.

Hey,

Wednesday doesn't work for me. Thursday?

I like the idea of showing up with a laptop every night at the library for a hour or two - it appeals to me and I would stop driving my wife crazy by asking questions while I'm writing.

My laptop isn't connected to the Internet, so I will ask her how to spell "Robinson Crusoe" or what part of the brain controls movement versus thinking etc...

Talk later... let me know if Thursday works for you.

It'd be really cool to have people always hanging around some place during the week ... Especially since my dad seems to think writing time means I'm available to help him with mindless chores xD

Getting out of the house and hanging out with people would be totally awesome!

I'm keen. I have exams this week so I'll really need to focus to catch up on my word count.

Thursday is an awesome day for me ... Usually. Not this week, because of Guy Fawkes, but any other week - for sure.

Well being the master procrastinator I am, here are the relevant times:

Fireworks: 9pm - but the cablecar is closed for those who were thinking of using it.
Clarks - open till 7
Library - open till 8:30.

I'm going to be at Esquires on Featherston St from 3pm today til about 5ish. If anyone wants to stop in and say hi while I get some writing in, please feel free. I will be the girl with the laptop, green cardigan and rainbow coloured knee socks.

Okay, It sounds like at least a couple of people are interested in meeting up on Thursday, which suits me fine.
Anyone who is interested in doing a write up socially on thursday can find me at clarke's cafe above the library at 1pm. I'll be the blond guy in with the big toshiba laptop. If you are keen and can let me know you're coming that's great, but anyone who turns up is of course welcome.

Hey all,

I'll be in the central library from about 5 until 7 or maybe later tonight. In the young adult section if there's space, otherwise ... wherever I can slot myself. If anyone's around, please feel free to come join me, 'cause I'll be going slightly mad on my own. Look for the blonde girl with the green top and the craptastic laptop with a Camp NaNoWriMo sticker on it.

Peace,
Esme.

Might pop in and see you, Esme. I'm trying to make sure I actually spend time outside my house today :D still chilling at Esquires, enjoying the wifi and hot chocolate. Mmmmmm.

Hey guys - it is Guy Fawkes on Thursday, but that's fine. I'm sure that most of the fireworks shows are around 9ish. Just checked - sure enough, fireworks start at 9PM.

I'll drop by the library cafe around 6 to see if anyone is there. I'll be the tall, thin Canadian guy with short, dark hair. I'll have a red and black, long sleeved sports shirt on and black jeans. I'll have a toshiba laptop as well.

I'll stick around for at least an hour - get a hot chocolate, write a bit and chat.

Hope to see a few people there.

I'll bring along the bright florescent green Nano ML t-shirt, but don't really want to put it on. :)

Talk later.

I'll try and pop by the library/library cafe tomorrow afternoon for an hour or so before going to my queer youth group. I'll keep an eye out for familiar faces and anyone with a general air of madness with a laptop.

*siiiiiigh*

I wish I was home right now so I could come and keep all of you company. I have learned that Wellington is a great location for writing because the humidity doesn't fry your brain. I have a new respect for all the Aussies WriMoing in that heat now, I'm in Motueka and the highest temp while I've been here was 24 degrees. As for Welly, I miss the gale force winds and the way they kept my brain cool! I am overheating. Hmmm maybe I can use it as inspiration. *runs off to write some purple prose about humid weather*

Back on saturday!

Hello everyone, just writing to say that I'll be at Clark's cafe (above the central library) at 4pm till 7ish, which is when they close if anyone is interested in a write in mid-week. If your coming and can post that's great, but anyone who is writing - or just wants to complain about how hard it is - is welcome.

Same as last week - will be in the Clarke's cafe tonight (Thursday) from 6PM to 7PM at the main library with a laptop.

I think most of you probably recognize me now, so just pop over and say hello.

Talk later.

Bah! I was fully in the library at that time. Only, I was procrastinating by reading Madonna's picture books. Fabulous use of time.

S'ok. I ended up being the only one there and I waited around for 20 minutes and then went into the library for about an hour to browse books.

Sorry dude.
Wasn't leaving my tomb... er I mean room.
Got plenty of writing done that day, but sorry about not turning up.
I'm turning slightly nocturnal with all this staying in and writing. It's no good for work I tell you!

Anyway, I won't be at the sunday meet up either, or at least not early as I'm having my birthday party type lunch thing- which is a pretty excellent reason as far as I'm concerned. There will definitely be time for writing on sunday, just not enough to say hello. Or at least as much as I'd like.
If you're still going, meet you there next week?
