Anyone interested in doing anything in the Chittenden county area? I think it'd be super awesome fun to do a write-in. Maybe I could finally get ahead on my word count; knock out a few good passages. If only I had motivation/support... (Any takers?)

I'd be down; I'm usually wandering around th' Burlington area.
I can take buses places but anywhere within walking distance downtown is easiest for me unless I bum rides.
Any ideas where you'd like to meet up with folks?

Just say when and where, and I'll try to make it!

I'm up for trying to get to something... if I can find the time and a ride. Unfortunately November is a crazy busy month for me even without NaNo (I don't know why I torture myself, honestly). But I'm willing to try!

Maybe at Fletcher Free library?

Well- wow, that's slightly frustrating. It doesn't notify me that I've got responses.

Anyone with experience with the site - is there a way to turn that on?

Otherwise: I'd like to extend the offer again, with hopes of organising something, and a promise that I'll bookmark this page. Sorry I didn't respond last time!

Hi Gradster - when you're in your account, go to "Manage Notifications." The culprit is usually one of the following:

1.) You have the universal opt out selected in the first box.
2.) You have "never send email" checked under the Regional Forums.
3.) You don't have the auto subscribe options checked under the advanced settings.

Also, there are already a couple of weekly write-ins happening in Chittenden County. Have a look under "Dragonfly Cafe Write-In -Wednesdays and Saturdays in November -8:00 to 11:00am (Colchester)" and "Write-in at Phoenix books in Essex? (Sundays 11-2)" for openers.

If none of that suits your fancy, or even if it does, feel free to throw up some more!

Helen
