I was the one who set up the write-in, but I will be unable to go to The Edge tomorrow morning. I have a very, very constipated cat at home and he needs to be checked on as much as possible to make sure he doesn't decline. If I didn't have school tomorrow right after the write-in, I would just go to the write-in for awhile and then go home. I have to go to school, though, so I must sacrifice the write-in tomorrow. Other people, of course, are welcome to go. I just cannot be there.

DEFINITELY take care of your kitty. Did you go to the vet? Did he/she give Myst some special meds? I had the constipation problem with my female cat many years ago, and a tube of some special laxative did the trick after a day or so. I hope he'll get better quickly -- let us know (lots of cat-loving Wrimos out there!)

I did indeed go to the vet, at 8 AM this morning... Myst got two enemas over the course of the day and still had not passed any stool. I just checked. :( So if he doesn't have a bowel movement by 4 pm tomorrow (which is also the time I get home from school), I am supposed to bring him back right away. He was also put on a low residue prescription diet yesterday, so that should help prevent episodes in the future. He is shut away in the bathroom with his litter box, to minimize any potty-related accidents that might occur, and he hates it. Poor thing.
