My first year and I had EVERY intention of coming to Denny's!
I got a call from my landlord Saturday morning that my house will be inspected on November 12! I was so depressed all day.
All I've been thinking about for the last month is NaNo and fitting in time to WRITE and take care of my Ikey(dog)! (and my job)
So, now the landlord puts MORE on my FULL plate and I have to fix things and get my house ready for inspection on top of everything else! ARGH!
When I'm doing house things - I feel guilty that I'm not writing!
When I'm writing - I feel guilty that I'm not doing house things!
What's a girl to do???
I came home from work today, put in a couple of hours on the house and then a couple of hours on the 'puter.
By the way, even though I didn't make it to Denny's, I was still there in Spirit, I started writing at Midnight and went until 3:00! I then wrote a few more hours that night and tonight. 2 days on my first NaNo and (don't get mad at me)
drum roll please............. 8381!!!!!!!!!!!
My goal is to be done by November 22 so I can celebrate this and my birthday on the 24th! I put down that I need to write 3000 words a day and if I do that, I'll be done by the 15th. I KNOW I won't write that many a day, but if I at least try...

Congrats!
I'm a slacker with a full plate, so I'm lagging behind a bit. I have every intention of picking it up as the month rolls along, though. Along with picking up my crocheted item production for a craft fair the 21st and a group Etsy sale after Thanksgiving... and helping my roommates take care of their baby... and working...
Luckily, I have wonderful, wonderful access to Google Documents at work, so I'm rolling with it during my work day! And procrastinating on the boards!
Here's to busy weeks, sleepless weekends, caffeine highs and taking a nap at 50,000!
