Hi I am just writing after work. For days 1 and 2 I broke my writing up into 2 or 3 sessions, maybe that will continue.

I just hope I don't run out of ideas. That's my main worry.

Good luck to you too.

Paul

I break it down. I do a 10 minute session min for every hour...if your anything like me your probably up and awake for at least 16 hours a day? Thats 16 sessions of 10 minutes and in 10 mins i can usually write 500 words....to meet the daily target, you just need to do 4 sessions, and its so much easier when its broken down :D

I tend to find myself writing a lot late at night. It's when I've usually finished everything else critical for college and it also tends to produce the best results (I also find that, with original fiction, if I put my mind to I can sit down and write 1,500 words in half an hour: I can just type babble, I swear).

There's also the factor when you're sat all alone in college breaks with nothing to do, you can also get a few words in then. Or more, if you take your laptop with you, ahahaha.

I was gonna wake up early to write but it didn;t work out. I love lie ins too much! I suppose I could now. I'm at the library in pc room procarstinating cuz I don't want to do my dissertation! lol. I find a good way to write your novel is to use it as procrastination for something else you should be doing!

Hi Flid, I noticed that with your method you've managed to nail a cool 32k. My own inspiration pipe is woefully inadequate compared to that so... erm...where can I get hold of the crack your smoking?

Frees at college, in the evening, the odd bit which I've done by hand when nothing much is happening in class... I just bung it in whenever I can. Although it has helped that I've hardly had any work set this week, and I managed to finish my English Lit coursework way before everyone else. I'm hoping I can persuade my Lit teacher that she should now let me use the computers during our coursework sessions to write as well.

Last year I found that any time I spent on buses was ideal for writing, as well as lunch breaks a work. This year I don't have any travel time to work, though, as I can walk, and as a result I've been struggling.

Oh well...

I don't have a television.

I always feel astonished that people actually find time to watch it ...then I remember that they do that in the evenings after work, which is when I write.
