Etsy folks, where you at? We all have different names on here, so let's move our thread off Etc and into NaNo!

Hi, I'm BallewFamily on Etsy! My real name is Cyndi and I'm hoping to suck less this NaNo season. :D

Hi Cindy, other Etsians, pleased to meet you all!

This is my first NaNo and it's going much better than I expect, sex scenes aside...

Good luck to you all!

Hello, everybody!

I'm AmeliaL on Etsy, too, and I own Lucky Manatee. I'm writing a really strange novel temporarily dubbed 'Erroll' on here, and I'm about 3k in at the time of this posting!

Hi, everyone! I'm 3DCranes on Etsy. I'm hoping to actually win NaNo this year -- especially since I'm not exactly busy with my shop at the moment =(

Ooh! Definitely reading those excerpts later, when I get a bit of caffeine in me :)

Slowly working away towards the 5k third day goal . . . . Argh!

I don't think the little blue thing moves far enough to be inspiring. I demand great leaps of blue.

I've hit a tough point in my story, can you tell?

Hey there, Etsians! *waves*

I'm doing both NaNo and Etsy this year, and it's still early enough in the month that I'm excited about it! I had a thought, though, and I'm trying to do some cross-promotion items in my Etsy shop, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Office of Letters and Light for to get me one of those nifty halos.

Check out the sneak preview on http://www.facebook.com/bodicegoddess/ - The latest status post is my coffee cozy pen holder.

You guys'll tell me if I'm being a crazy idiot, right?

Love love love Etsy!
I'm a buyer solely, not a seller, but am missing my many hours I had spare to just trawl through pages of gorgeous wares. On the plus side my bank balance is looking up thanks to my limited shopping time :P
As a total side note, if anyone sells or knows of a seller that has some biker boots size 4-5 UK for about £20-£30 I will be mucho interested. I'm under same user name on Etsy or just send me a message on here. I do keep my eye out but there is just so much stuff its hard to keep track.
Studs or a heel [3 inch min] preferable but I'm not too fussy over that to be honest.
Everyone good luck with Nano!
Emma x

Promises, promises... But no - fresh coffee and some actual sleep last night has helped significantly!

I've even tackled the dreaded sex scene - sex looks *really* silly written down, you know that? I'll edit it out in December. Definitely before my parents see a copy of this story...

Hope today's going well for you all, too!

Hi everyone,

I'm lipglosserie on Etsy and just opened up my shop. This is my second year doing NaNoWriMo and I think just getting past my word count from last year would be a success for me. :)

I'm NotYourAverageMartha on esty and this is my first Nano! I had two sales yesterday and I think that zapped all my energy for the day. I did NOT get nearly enough writing in. Apparently I can only focus on one thing at a time and I do it in short, excitable bursts.

My book makes no sense so far! Hoping to pull it together at some point!

Wow! Thanks, everyone. Now I need to buckle down and get my word count up!

So what are you all writing and is your story obeying you?

Your story synopsis looks like something I'd definitely want to read, by the way!

I too am writing an apocalyptic tale, heh. I got my idea from a really vivid dream I had - the dream featured David Bowie, but I, um, altered his character slightly so that it . . . . you know, made sense.

It's basically about a 'royal' family in the future, and how screwed up/weird they are, and what happens to them.

Sounds cool, Deanna.

Another romance/adventure for me....I don't know if I've posted this anywhere or not...It's set in Ancient Greece around the time of the Trojan War. It has cute guys, Satyrs, battles, love and romance, modern technology, the whole shooting match...

I would venture to say that most of my dreams become stories...sad but true...noone can analyze my dreams because the ruddy things are like self contained movies...

Have you been watching Labyrinth recently? It's sick how much I love that movie and the androgeny of David Bowie....

Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you! Ahh...but cute men can get us through so much. Especially shirtless muscle-y ones.

I always say that I dream in Science Fiction. I always have weird, technicolor vivid dreams that somehow come complete with story arc. Not sure what's up with that but I'm glad I'm not alone.

Haha! I agree completely. And, this: http://www.last.fm/music/David+Bowie/+images/5767648 I just love David Bowie way too much.
