Maybe I will burn out quick, but I just hit 15,000 a little while ago and it is still flowing like water!

Even if it is a one hit wonder I don't care. I have had writers block for years. It is flowing and I am so happy that I can finally get it down.

I'm always scared to stop writing when it's flowing like that because usually I lose the magic, lol.

Of all the things I fear that is it. It is a terrifying thing when your idea suddenly vanishes and you are sitting, lost in a sea of now meaning less words.
I will finish this, and if it goes where I am thinking it will, 50,000 is just a pitstop.

That's pretty ambitious. Although I have 10,000 words and my story has hardly begun. I'm a slow writer and that's why I'm worried. I always want to go back and reread and edit.

I am so in the moment that I can't help myself. I started fresh yesterday morning at about 8 in the morning my goal is at least 20,000 before I go to sleep tonight.
My genre may be an easy one to write, but length in Erotic Fiction is not exactly a standard fare.

First: Awesome job on the word count, keep it up!
Second: I don't think there's such a thing as an easy thing to write, and erotica can be downright difficult. When you're tossing an occasional kiss or cuddle into a story, it's easy to vary them, but keeping them interesting when they comprise such a large part of the writing is extremely challenging. Sure, maybe you "always" know where any scene is going to lead so the plot can be simpler, but there are at least a couple of people I know who absolutely cannot write erotica, so don't sell yourself short!

I thank you for that. I started with a simple erotica story that seems to have turned into something close to my magnum opus. i am thinking now that I am not writing a book at 50,000, it is more of a very long chapter of something I foresee getting a great deal longer and more complex.
Both of which please me no end.

I hope I'll get to read some of these novels when they're done. They all sound so interesting!

Mine may be a little, well a lot, adult content, but I will make sure it is available for anyone who wants to read it.

I'd like to take a look at it at least. I always like seeing work from other young writers.

It would be nice to sample some of what everyone has written, for those who care to share their work. That might be a good idea for the TGIO party, not sure if it's ever been done before.

That's a really good idea! And I think it would be a satisfying way to end the experience.

it would be indeed. A beer and showing off your victory, what is better than that?

Reading extracts from what's been written is a traditional part of the TGIO party!
