Folks,
I am not going to be continuing on this year. My novel, which was supposed to be some therapy for me being about a middle aged mother having to deal with the loss of her daughter toher own life, was turning into something that was 'digging up bones' and taking me emotional places I really don't need to go to.
So, I'm out. Best of luck!
Sharon

We don't know each other, but I am also sorry to hear this news - I sympathize with you entirely. It is very hard to write from life sometimes when life feels too close. Be well, take care of yourself, and hopefully we will see you next year. - Sarah

I concur. This has some surprises, not all welcome. Actually, I can't imagine keeping this up for a month. The physical strain of sitting at a keyboard all day is tremendous, (God pity the poor secretary) and my brain is wound so tightly into these characters I am already a muttering pile of confusion.... after only three days.
Anyway, the best of luck to you.
