So, one of the WrimOlympics check boxes was for writing 5K in a day. We can't monitor everyone's word count THAT closely, so it'll be up to you to put a shout out here if you manage to write 5K in a day. Then we'll try to catch you at one of the events to give you your check. This is kind of on an honour system so we're counting on you guys to be truthful here.

I know there are one or two of you who already qualify and if you've done 10K in a day already O.O please feel free to start a thread for that too!

You may already know about me, as I sent you a NaNoMail asking you about this (again x.x), but...

I hit 5K day 1 :D

Suggestion for you guys on how to verify...
Assuming everyone's updating their wordcounts here on the site frequently enough, you *should* be able to go into their profiles and see a day by day breakdown graph of total words written. If you look at the number of words for the day they've reached it, and compare it to the day before and do some quickie subtraction, it kinda works as verification (but only if the counts have been updated on a regular basis, and before midnight (that's one i've fallen prey to already - just a *few* seconds too late and it counts as the next day), it pretty much works out).
But I'll leave that one up to you guys - I know you're both very busy people and probably don't want to be losing even a few minutes of writing time to do this :D (I know I wouldn't realy)

Although it is only 9pm and I have been informed in the chatroom that I still have time to write, lol. We'll see...

I got one yesterday! And the day before, according to my spreadsheet. But yesterday was a definite.

(Not today, though. Today I didn't hit 3,000.)

I didn't even realise it but... I actually wrote 5k today (with 40 minutes to spare!)
Which is almost as much as I've written in the last week put together, and puts me within reach of catching up. Yay!

Just finished 5K and the brain has gone on strike.

I'm still behind my target, but I'll catch up.

I'm sure I'll have one 10K day.

I will never underestimate the power of... I don't know.

I just hit 5k, has another hour of writing ahead I hope. I don't think I can ever get to 10k. Those who reached it, mucho kudos to you.
