~raising my hand sheepishly~ Guilty over here. Not too far behind the word power curve as I wrote extra the day before. Dammit though...four days in and I get to play catch up.

Anyone else? Misery loves company.

I don't know if I'd call that falling off the wagon. Maybe throwing yourself under the wheels would be a better descriptor. Look at it this way...at least you decided to have a do-over on day five and not day fifteen.

Best of luck to you!

Thinking foo on wordcount, well, work towards getting it there, but failure is an option.

Just keep writing until the final bell.

3500 or so to catch up today.

Failure is NEVER an option. You'll get there. Way I look at it, if I can stick with it when my world is fully of shiny, sparkly things...ANYONE can stick with it.

Start over?! I was under the impression that QUALITY was not an issue. One of the posts at www.critiquecircle.com said to NOT change things, just add.

I'm a little behind, just under 10k.

I live in El Dorado, how about the rest of you?

I thought I was alone, but apparently I'm not. I got like 2k words in the first couple days, then I started over yesterday because I saw my novel was going nowhere. Now I'm writing SciFi... kind of new for me haha, but it's been more addicting to write, since anything is possible in SciFi! Yay! My goal is to get 10k by the end of the weekend. Not gonna happen D:

Yeah, I fell off. :( But, that's what I get for wanting to do something, only to have life blow up. I'll catch up! I just need to pack and move and unpack and ... uh, write. Yeah.

Haven't fallen off the wagon yet, but I'm about to, since I am off to the beach to celebrate my 39th anniversary with my husband. Also losing last 4-5 days end of November. So by Sunday night, taking that into account, I will be teetering on the wagon wheel.

Perhaps I will have a few more inspired writing sessions in the next couple of weeks and will keep up.

And perhaps pigs really do fly...

I joined mid month so I've been playing catch up from day 1. Siouxxie, congratulations on your anniversary. Less than 2,000 to go, you can make it!

I'm still delusional enough to hope I cross the finish line. But even if I don't this is the most fiction I've ever written and my first Nanowrimo, and hopefully I'll be back next year.
