Okay, here's a separate shout-out for the 20,000ers. What was the word or sentence?

My word was "the". "If I had another dream about the grim reaper, it would be less nightmare and more fantasy" was the sentence. A lot less pretty and sweet and romantic in context. MC is not being morally straight right now.

Anyone else hit their 20,000 mark?

...anyone?

Good going my netbook buddy! :D

Suddenly, the background static of the torrential downpour momentarily became a full forced aural assault as a short old man with a large briefcase in toll opened the door with some difficulty.

Poetoffire, as I have said many times, you are pure evil. Just kidding. Good job. Now I've just got to pound my head into the keyboard a few million times to get that much. Do netbooks just make writing go faster, because the dinosaur I was carrying at the Writer's Place might have something to do with my failtastic wordcount.

"What are you doing here? I thought I killed you yesterday!" grumbled Albi quite racistly.
"No, Albi. You didn't kill me with your dragon flames. I crawled to safety, but you did leave me very badly disfigured," laughed the boy.

My 20,00th word is "orders"

"The Scribes often claimed that the offending individual was not acting under their orders and instead of global censures the individual was held accountable for their own actions."

My 20,000th word is "together" as in:

We watched the movie sitting together on the new sofa and I fell asleep about half way through the movie. When I woke up in the bed, I knew that he had carried me in and put me there.

20,000 word: he.

Sentence... er well paragraph:

I scratched the back of my head. “I only said for people to get out of the building, you’d have to ask what he said.” I said pointing towards where I thought I saw Malcolm. “… He’s gone.”

Yeah... I feel like dying. Words seem to only come in two hundred word spurts or less.

"on"

"He’d felt his father’s blood on his hands, and he knew that he would never forget it, not as long as he lived."

(Which isn't as ominous as it sounds, believe me.)

And number 20,000 is

"intercepted"

Context. This is in the midst of the costumed vigilante known as The Monkey trying to sort out the events of a recent mob war.

"It explained the rash move of sending a bomb that had obviously been intercepted and returned."

20,044 and the 20,000th word is "with"

" I returned home from the magestry with SilverMist, and she went out to do her own thing. I went into the lodge and was greeted by the gang as an accountant friend of Kent named Steve dealt the cards. I took half a sandwich and ate it while kibbitzing with them. "

I do so look forward to these milestone shoutouts. They keep me going.

My word is: all

As used in: He walked through them all and went straight to the back where he knocked, then immediately entered an office with glass walls and doors.

My 20,000th word is "up".

Harleigh didn’t have any paper towels to wipe it up with.
