Right now I just need people to talk to. I've got a fever that's spiking dangerously and might mean a hospital visit if it goes up any higher. I do have people coming (my mom is on her way), but it's 4 in the morning, I've got horrible chills, and I'm scared. If you're out there, drop by and say hi? I could use the company. :(

Eep!

Hope you get better. Having a high fever is never a fun thing. I certainly hope it won't require a hospital visit.

Hey honey. Have a random hug to get better.

*internet!hug*

Don't worry, I'm feeling woozy, dizzy and blurry. I probably shouldn't have skipped dinner. =S

I'm here to talk to you! Would you like to hear a poem? It's a double-dactyl!

"Patty cake, patty cake,
Marcus Antonius,
What do you think of the
African queen?"

"Gubernatorial
Duties require my
Presence in Egypt. Ya
Know what I mean?"

...No? How about my favorite joke!

You know how geese sometimes fly in a V?

(yes)

And you know how sometimes one side of the V is longer than the other?

(yes)

Do you know why?

(no)

Because...

there are more geese on that side. -______- Duh.

Get some drugs down you my dear... even ibuprofen is designed to relieve the fevers etc... and drink plenty of fluids...

It's morning here, so I hope you get yourself sorted soon. Grab the laptop and take it hospital if it ends going that way. The important thing is to get better though...

Thanks so much, guys. It just rose past the threshold, so hospital visit it is. (I'm going through chemo and just had a treatment yesterday. Any fever over 101 means emergency).

Still freaked, but trying to stay level headed. I'm glad my mom lives close. Now I just need to kill 15 min until she gets here. Guess I should pack a bag. :-/

Pack the bag... include the notes, paper, pens, laptop, sweets, soft toy (if you still have them) and anything else that makes you feel better. Your fave comic if you have one. Things that make you feel better....

Good luck... tell all the nurses what you're doing, see if they give you a hand with any of it (ideas/plot lines etc)

Get better...

And don't forget your muse/s!!

Get yourself better and don't fret about word count. You can make it up once you're out and better if its not up to what you want it to be. Don't sacrifice your health for your word count. =)

Feel better soon!

I've been home sick with some bad cold thing - fever, chills, coughing etc. Worst cold I've had in years (usually don't even take time off for them), so I can imagine your fever now. I hope you get all the treatment in hospital that you need, and can be home soon! [hugs]
