I have been working overtime for the past few days. Once I get home, I'll be so tired that I fall asleep at the computer or on my writing pad. Haven't been able to clock in much writing hours. Just reached the 4k mark. I hope to be able to catch up! I'll be off to Bali next week. Will keep writing on the iPhone.
Anyone else having similar unexpected problems?

I agree. I've written nearly 20,000 words since Nov 1. Only 7,000 of them are connected to my novel. Another 10,000 is work-related drafts, emails and proposals. The rest are expected to earn me some money come December. *rolls on floor, inspired by the Whingery*

I'm hiding from work and pretending it isn't there until my sisters leave tonight. But yesterday morning a big envelope arrived by courier and it's sitting on the coffee table glaring at me and making me feel guilty. I've hidden it under the newspapers but it still managed to send out guilt vibes. I ought to be panicking but family mores insist on serenity so tomorrow I'll become a screaming, frantic lunatic tearing her hair out.

Good to know I'm not alone. Still hanging on. I keep telling myself I must continue even if I lag far behind on word count.

*shame*
I took leave.
In between writing, I'm doing workstuff. No way I could catch up on the wordcount if I'm at work. I was struggling last week.

Don't feel like writing anything after I come back home from work! I tried writing some at work shhhh, but I kept turning around to see if anyone was watching. Wrote 700 words but it is too stressful to continue doing so.

I hide in my cubicle over lunch hour to work on my NaNo, with the target of at least 2,000 words that hour. Real lunch is relegated to two tuna sandwiches. A great way to lose weight and gain words at the same time! (=

I pretty much have so much work that my schedules are overlapping.
Even my handphone tells me that my schedules are overlapping. How cool is that.
