Hi all: I am at a conference next week in San Jose and would love to meet up some wrimos for an informal write-in one or two nights Mon-Thurs (9-12 Nov) maybe starting around 7 pm? I'll be at The Fairmont where I am sure I can find us a nook or two. jude |

Jude, one event you should definitely put on your calendar is the scheduled Thursday night write- in in the upstairs loft at Caffe Trieste on S. 1st St. in downtown San Jose, which is an easy walk from The Fairmont. We start officially there at 7 and they don't close until 10. We just had our first Thursday write-in there last night and it went really well. Come join us!

I live in downtown San Jose and often walk or bike to Cafe Trieste and the area. (Philz Coffee is another great writing spot.) My work hours make it unusual for me to be around at 7pm. I have been writing every night after work, roughly 9pm (when most write ins end). At 6000+ words behind schedule, I could use a serious writing buddy!
