Just checking for the Glendalers out there. Anyone interested for a writing session at the Main Library or something? Or maybe someone for word wars to keep me honest.
Using the library comp at the moment (don't ask) so might be bit getting back to ya.

Hi! I'm in Glendale -- 51st Ave, not far from the public library. If other Glendalers want to organize a little write-in or something, I'm up for it, depending on the day.

I'd come depending on the day and the time. The weekend would be good probably, I don't have classes then.

Me: Why yes, yes I do.

Though I'm mainly in Downtown Phoenix (I live downtown as I go to ASU in Phoenix for journalism), on the weekends, I'm living in Glendale! 59th and Northern to be more specific. (: So weekend write-ins to meet the other Glendale residents and encourage each other to write and word war would be great. If something gets cooked up for this weekend, let me know before I have to go back to ASU on Sunday. =D

Me, I'm in Glendale. 51st and Bell to be exact. I'd love to get together with others from Glendale, but I don't have a laptop of my own and DH travels a lot and takes his with him. If I can overcome that hurdle, I'd love to join the other Glendalites (is that the word?) at the library. Otherwise you'll find me slaving away on my living room dinosaur.

I go past the Main Library every day coming home from work about 5:30 or so and I have Fridays and Sundays off. (note Sunday hours are from 1-5)
Pretty sure the library is closed on Wed for Veteran's Day.
Anyone for maybe a six o'clock on Tuesday and Thursday and a one o'clock on Sunday?
They have tables with the outlets for the laptaps and since I also am sans laptop, I'll be handwriting for it. So don't feel left out if you don't have one too. But don't forget to charge up beforehand in case the tables are full.
There is also a cafe connected to the library, so we can take a break and talk some as well. The cafe closes about a half hour before the library does.
They are not big on signs being posted, so I'll let the librarians know to point you back to the tables.
Info for those who haven't been here.
The Main Library is on the southwest corner of 59th Avenue and Brown Street, between Olive Avenue and Peoria Avenue.
