Being new to this area, I would like to pose this question.
1)Does SLC have a wine bar or something sort of low key-not crazy like a regular bar/pub that could be conducive to writing/give one a new writing location and
2)if such a place exists, would anyone like to meet up at this place and we could write with the assistance of a bit of company & wine? :D just curious!

That does sound fun, but I can't think of any off hand. Plus, I am more of a beer lover myself.
Squatters brewery comes to mind, but it is not a great atmosphere for writing. What part of town are you in? Maybe we can narrow it down that way. I am in the Draper/Sandy area. They have some sports bars around here, but again - not great for writing.
Anyone have any thoughts for having a drink and writing socially?
