Today I wrote 7,616 words. And my back is killing me. So how many words have you written in one day? I'm sure JupiterSTar's totals will be frightening! Anybody else?

I managed 10,164 words on Day 1 of this year. Which I think is a new personal best for a single day for me.

I did about 5000 words today, making it my record. But the way I see it- there's still another hour. I'm curious as to how much I can write in one day!

5,907 yesterday if I don't include the 843 (I think) I lost when my computer shut itself down during a Write or Die session. :( It's my highest day for all my years doing NaNo. Those of you getting to 10k and above, wow! That's awesome (and sounds painful wrist-wise)!

This year, or total? Because so far this year it's the 13,307 on day 7, but I had a 17K day last year at some point and I THINK that was my all time best...

Best ever has got to be 15K in one day. Thus far for NaNo, 3.5K.
Might have to best that tomorrow, because I am barely awake right now.

My best word count ever was 12,663 on November 23 during NaNo 2008.
I only know that because I used one of the spreadsheets I found online to track NaNo word count progress. And I found it and opened the file just now.
I was hoping for a 10K day or even better, today. I started writing for NaNo on November 11 this year. So I'm really behind (or under) the curve for word count goal, and sprinting to catch up.
So far I've written 6500 words today. I'm taking a break for a few minutes. Maybe I'll switch to another part of the story and write a few scenes for that, and see if I get a second wind.
