Do you know any sites or companies that regularly hold writing contests (preferably speculative fiction/fantasy genre) or would pay inexperienced writers to churn out novels/stories for them?

Hiya.
Some of the annual ones haven't kicked in yet or are done, but see these sites for future reference:

Apart from contests, you may also want to look at publications like Story PH and stuff. And local anthologies. I know there was a speculative fiction anthology series sometime this year or last year, but I don't have the details on that. And here's a tip: if you have a lot of published material, even if you haven't been paid for it, when you do try to get paid for it, people are more likely to sit up and pay attention. :)

Cool! thanks for the links and the advice. I did submit a spec fic story for "PHILIPPINE SPECULATIVE FICTION V". They'll be sending me their decision this November. I hope that they will publish it.
