Made over 20k today. I will see if I can manage 30 tomorrow but I have a funeral to attend so we'll see.

I'm so glad there's an "official" post for this instead of just a regular old normal post. It takes all of the guesswork out of posting in the forums.

I reached 20k by getting home from a write-in and then writing a bit more. Before I was only hoping on reaching 52k total, but now that I'm going at such a good clip I feel like I should aim for 60k or even 70k. Why not push myself? I'm curious - are the other 20k folk still aiming for 50k or something much higher?

Almost at 25K words! Thinking I should have just forced those last 209 words out, but I was at a good breaking point this afternoon. I spent about an hour last night doing more plotting and realize I still have a huge stack of notecards to "write" through! My story is just getting started. December editing will be fun (not!).

Oui - I too am thinking about increasing my NaNoWriMo goal. I think my goal will be to reach 60-65K by Nov. 30th.

I made it to 20k! This is a really awesome place to be, to be two days away from the mid point makes me very excited.

I made it I made it! 20, 900ish! I am so excited! I keep making excting discoveries and I still have plot outline to fulfil! SO FUN! (Bradetta does a happy dance and the dog goes wild!!)

Ok - Shooting for 25,000 by Tuesday!

As of this morning, I've topped 20,000, though just barely. The write-in this weekend bumped me even further ahead, and finally the plot is starting to pick up so hopefully things will remain clean sailing.

To answer oui_je_danse, my goal is to hit 50,000 in November, but I don't know how long the story will end up being. I may well have to finish the story in early December regardless of word count, depending on how things go later this month.

22,523 is tonight's final total. Hoping to be at 35K by Saturday.

Oh, and a big "YAY" for everyone who's already made it to this point and to those who are working their way up.

I hit 20K the other day. 24K plus today. Distractions abound, the story is not even half-way. Going at it like a train on the tracks aiming for as many words this week as possible, since there is a lot of work next, and family arriving the following week. November really is a masochistic month, n'est-ce pas?

My novel will definitely have more than 50,000 words- but I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't get to the end by November 30th. I just want to get over 50K, which should be more than doable.

Just don't want to derail.

I wrote over 6000 words today with Write or Die, I've got my sights set of the half way point tomorrow! Onwards and upwards to higher word counts!

I made 20K late last night. Elation, exhaustion! I'm hoping to blaze ahead at the Old Pequliar write-in in Ballard tonight. Keep it up, cool cool novelists!

There. I just hit 20 K. If this was a normal writing month however, I would have deleted about 19,500 by now. Luckily, this is not just another writing month. Phew.

Okay, a day late again, but I'm there, and I guess one day is better than five, right?

Hope to make up on the word count with some serious concentration and logging today.

I have absolutely no flow tonight, so today's writing has been a tough slog, but despite a slow start, I've hit twenty thousand.
Week Two has been my strongest so far, with only day as low as 1600, the rest 2000-2500.

I made it to 20000!

The last 3000 words were written while on swine flu, and assorted meds. we'll see in December if they're coherent.

Just hit 21k tonight. I'm a bit behind par, but then again I wrote over 7k words today and I stopped for the evening at a spot that'll make it very easy to pick up and continue tomorrow. Have been writing at about 1k/hour today.

I think I'll have caught up to 25k easily by tomorrow evening.

Made 20k today! As of 2pm-ish, I'm at 21,237......but I'm hoping to get some more writing done tonight before I go to bed, now that I'm done with today's birthday parties and whatnot. *sigh* I think I'm going to disable my laptop's wireless internet so I can focus on writing my novel!

It has been hard slogging, but worth it, although it took me longer into the night than I had expected. Like most of you, if I can keep my social commitments to a minimum I should make it to 25K tomorrow. Let's go!

I slacked off for too many days and haven't been ahead of the curve like I was :( but I'm happy to say I'm now well over 20,000 with more to go today!

I'm gonna get my first 5K day today and a reward sticker for my scrapbook too! (an A+). Huzzah!!
