Penn St Perk has contacted us to let us know that they are very writer-friendly. They're on the corner of 13th and Pennsylvania. They have free wi-fi and plenty of seating. They are officially opening up Tuesday 11/10 and 11/24 from 6p - 8p for any NaNoWriMos that would like to write. Additionally, they would like to open up Tuesday evenings for writers year-round, so if you're looking for some place to go after November to work on edits, or maybe put together your own critique group downtown, they are more than happy to accommodate.

I think it's so wonderful to not only have a business be willing to work with us and offer us space, let alone to actually contact US instead of the other way around. I'm definitely tempted to make a trip up to Cap Hill just to check them out!

I'm going to put this on the Calendar with a map in case anyone would like to take advantage of this wonderful offer. And hey, we can never have too many write-ins, right? :-)

Happy word-crafting!

Niassa, I added this to the calendar. I will also try to stop by this Tuesday to check it out!

Thanks, Spleen. Google was acting weird for me so I didn't add it. Glad you were able to! :-) I'll try to make it on Tuesday, but a lot will depend on work.
