In celebration of Day Eight (my lucky number is eight), here is the 8th ukulele song I've written. (The 6th song from my novel). It includes both the dare and the prompt, and it's called "Whiny Breakup Song," and I hope you like it. Also, Happy ML Appreciation Day! (Even though this isn't the happiest song in the universe).
So you better believe
If anyone deserves brownie points
From this breakup, it's me
I put up with all your crap
And I think you will agree
That you deserve nothing
For your brutal honesty
You're a jerk, and I'm glad you're gone
And this is not a whiny breakup song
You left me, so now we're done
And I must say that I'm much better off
Without you
I am the one who sat there
While you said that we were through
And I am sure that what you said
Was the honest truth
You wanted to date other girls
So you gave me the boot
So forgive me if I don't sit
Here crying over you
You're a jerk, and I'm glad you're gone
And this is not a whiny breakup song
You left me, so now we're done
And I must say that I'm much better off
Without you
You walked away from the best thing
That you could ever get
And I'm not the one who
Will end up with regrets
I'm only sorry for the fact
That we ever met
I'll give back everything you bought
And then we will be set
You're a jerk, and I'm glad you're gone
And this is not a whiny breakup song
You left me, so now we're done
And I must say that I'm much better off
Without you
I guess I'll forgive you
But that doesn't mean we're cool
You've got a lot of 'splainin' to do
About why you're such a tool
You're a jerk, and I'm glad you're gone
And this is not a whiny breakup song
You left me, so now we're done
And I must say that I'm much better off
Without you
You're a jerk, and I'm glad you're gone
And this is not a whiny breakup song
You left me, so now we're done
And I must say that I'm much better off
Without you
The video is uploading right now, and I'll link to it once it's finished uploading.

Aww. Thank you so much. I'm so glad you aren't sick of me. I look forward to the dares/prompts everyday. I think I've got an idea for today's, too. The only problem is that I'm getting behind in my word count, because I keep writing songs instead. Oh well.
