So I never got around to scheduling anything for today, obviously (although there is a write-in in Queens and I will happily taunt people in the chat room if you need it). Other Sundays in November on which I am available are the 15th and the 29th. I may regret this later, but here's kind of an informal poll: What do you guys want to do on those Sundays?

We could:

a) Have a write-in in Brooklyn. And not even necessarily Park Slope. I could travel a little on a Sunday to do something. I've gotten recommendations for some places in Brooklyn Heights and Boerum Hill that sound like they'd work.

b) Have a write-in in Manhattan. I'm thinking Lenny's or, if you wanted to go later, the old stand-by 8th Street Cosi.

c) Have Sunday stay open so that people in far off places where we usually don't have write-ins (Staten Island or Bay Ridge or the Bronx, for example) can schedule things, if they are interested.

d) Leave you all to your own devices. Which, um, you could probably do without my help.

Thoughts, preferences?

Cosi on 8th Street would be excellent!!!! If people are into it, that is.

And, BTW, Erin, you so rock!!! Thanks for being such a great and organized ML. You and your fellow fab MLs make NaNo such a pleasure every year.

I like Cosi. :) Manhattan actually works better for me on a weekend because of the funkiness of the subways and construction. And Sundays are perfect since I'm in for church anyway.

And yeah...thanks for all you do!!!

On a beautiful day like today, you want to be cooped up inside? I spent two hours trotting around, kicking leaves, shopping and just soaking up the sun. I'm for enjoying the 65 degree weather, I'll write later!

PS: I would have loved to swig down a couple of Mango Margarita's at Panchitos on MacDougal Street, then relax in Washington Square Park with my laptop and a NaNo friend.....

HA! Kyahpearl I too enjoyed my morning and early afternoon. It was like the last official summer day out it was so beautiful. I was behind in writing so I was supposed to write all day. I did manage to get in almost 6K words but then my keyboard went low on batteries and so here I am using the last of it to post on the boards. Maybe next sunday we can have an on-line write-in/chat? City would be good if the weather is good. It will make me come in from Westchester.
