In previous years we always had "Under __K Clubs" where people could moan about being horrifically behind with other people at the same level of pathetic fail, and do their best to get out as quick as possible. I haven't seen any yet this year - someone do tell me if they're on a different forum - so I'm starting one.

I just broke 5k, what about you?

I'm barely over 2000 words.

I'm in pretty much the same boat. I hope to get to 10k tonight, and then hit the 15k goal for Monday -- but my fiance has a ton of engineering homework that I promised I'd help her with, so we'll see how it goes.

Just under 8k. And, of course, I've got a bundle of homework to do, and I'm trying to overcome illness-induced lethargy. I'm not really sure how I'm going to catch up, but I have faith I'll do it somehow. Good luck to you!

Haven't updated the word count on here yet, but I just broke 1000 words. 1022, to be precise.

Yeah, I'm destined to fail.

I'm almost to nine thou...
I guess I'm not as bad off as I thought but I really don't feel like writing tonight. Feel like playing video games since I can't go out and be active.
I tore a muscle in my wrist a few days ago (not from typing!) and today is the first day I've been able to type for more than five minutes without pain.

I have no excuse.
Been at home for the past four days, haven't been able to write more than 800~ words.
This is bad.

Currently at about 7400 words after 4 days of nothing whatsoever, and not a lot of motivation right now either. :( Not looking good, I'm afraid...

I don't have an excuse either. This is my frist year participating and I just can't seem to force myself to write if I don't feel the inspiration. I was worried I wouldn't get anything done this weekend, but I finally got something tonight. Up to the awesome number of 6,789 words.

I'm under 10k and I have no excuse except for procrastination and sheer laziness on my part. I really have to get ahead this week, because the next two weeks are the "everything is DUE" ones. But will I? Probably not. *smacks self*

I'm trying to break 6k and have decided to spend my time on here whining about how I'm procrastinating instead of actually writing, even though my document is up and staring me in the face.

I also just lost the game.

You've fallen victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous is 'never get involved in a land war in Asia,' but only slightly less well-known is this; NEVER go in against a SICILIAN when DEATH is on the the line!

I'm at around the 3500 mark, depending on how many words I've got in my notebook that I haven't typed up yet. I do have the excuse of working three jobs five days a week, studying full time (with exam period, too!) as well as illnesses and medical tests - but if you find my shoutout post in the Shoutout forum (when it eventually updates), you'll see that I'm absolutely ecstatic with my word count, because it's the most I've been able to write in the last two years.

GOODBYE, CREATIVE DROUGHT!!!

I'm at 9k! But I shouldn't be. I haven't found time or the will to write in two days. I am very disappointed in myself, young lady...

Coming in at just under 8k. Could also blame homework or this darn cold but really I just haven't had the will all this weekend and fell horribly behind. Now I'm trying to dust myself off and forge ahead.

I restarted on Friday and ended with 498, got to a few over 1000 yesterday, and despite all self-promises toward a 10k weekend, just passed 3600 and am hoping to limp across the 4k finishline sometime before midnight (it's fifteen 'till 11 right now, so >:/ who knows?)

I'm trying hard to at least get to 9k before I go bed. I'm still pleased with what I've got though. Had 0 on Friday.

My goal was 13,000 for the weekend, but I'm only at 9,000. I'm going to write to 10,000 and then call it a night.

Ughh, I'm nearly at 10K.
My stupid science 2 teacher assigned us the project from Hell, and I've been busy with the dumb thing. I see a few hours with Write or Die in my near future.

Well, I'm at 3.5k, and I've written 2k of that today......I have to keep writing at least 2k a day in order to catch up. But the over achiever in me wants write 3k a day....which is just 45 minutes worth of totally not thought about writing for me....

Yay for Write Or Die....it totally helps you to not procrastinate.

Or at least, it does me.

But yeah....I've been procrastinating for lack of a story idea. I just couldn't start ANYTHING. Now it seems that I have plenty of muse.

However, I'm totally TOTALLY behind.

I've made my bed (twice), done the laundry, done roommate's laundry, cleaned cat litter, walked up and down the stairs a dozen times for no good reason, downloaded a bunch of new television shows I never get to watch (itunes, how I love and hate thee) and picked out belly button lint, just to be different... Procrastination, thy name is....

uggh.

all instead of pushing through and writing a ton this weekend.

I'm almost to 3k but I really want to reach 20k by the end of this week. It's just crazy enough it might work. Or it might just make me tired, grumpy, and in trouble. Hopefully it will.

I'm just a bit over 6K. Each time I've tried writing today, I've found myself distracted by something. I have plans to be caught up and on my way to being ahead of schedule this week.

I broke 4k today, and will hopefully break 5k tomorrow! I've been languishing for the past week, but I think I've found my second wind.

We can do it!
