Heyo! I'm one of the "Elsewhere" MLs, hailing from the Platteville area. I'm new to MLing this year, but I've been in (and won) NaNo every year since 2005. Which... admittedly isn't the longest time, but still. My name is Epros.

I hope to get to know all of you way better, and if you ever need to ask a question, you know who to get ahold of!

I will be organizing quite a few parties/write-ins around UW-Platteville, so if any of you are in that area, please let me know if you're interested and the times each week that you'd be able to participate. Perhaps we'll have some online write-ins for the entire Elsewhere region, who knows? Personally, I'm up for anything. I'm also hoping that we can maybe have word wars/sprints with the other Wisconsin groups.

I know that my roommate and I can't be alone here. Anybody in the Dodgeville/Platteville area? At all? I'm going to be mighty disappointed if we're not going to be able to have write-ins due to lack of interest. :/

Eau Claire Check In Thread Has Moved - See Wisconsin: Eau Claire region

Hey y'all! I'm webwalrus, aka Robert, and I'm one of two MLs for Wisconsin: Elsewhere this year. I'm based in Eau Claire, and our other ML is in Platteville. If you're in/around the Eau Claire area, respond to this thread so I can start getting an idea of how many of y'all there are! Feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself, years doing NaNo, what you're hoping to accomplish (obviously the main goal, but any sub-goals?) Also, November 1st is a Saturday, and I believe that's the day we're supposed to have the kick-off party. Anybody got any suggestions for a good place to do that? I'm still in the planning stages, so input is greatly appreciated.

I'm a freshman at Lawrence, and I was wondering if there are any Lawrence students doing Nano. Maybe do some write-in's and stuff. I'm not really used to not knowing anybody near who's doing Nano, because I got introduced to it by my sister.
