Brief Author Bio: I spend my copious free time traveling the world and am an avid nature photographer. My work has been published in books and newspapers around the world. In South Africa, I dove with 4 meter long great white sharks and got stuck between a herd of rampaging hippopotami and an irritated bull elephant. I've been attacked by monkeys in Japan, gotten stuck in a ravine with two male lions in Kenya, gotten thirsty in Egypt, narrowly avoided a coup d'etat in Thailand, walked part of the Great Wall of China. And I've written a completely unrelated novel. |

Synopsis: Love on a Limb
So there’s this tree. (It’s a really big tree. In Alaska.)
And in this tree, there lives a girl. (A quirky, somewhat preachy tree-hugger named Meadow.)
She’s really not supposed to be in the tree… (She’s supposed to be working on her PhD in salmon ecology)
And below the tree, there is this guy. (A handsome but somewhat old-fashioned one by the name of Cutter McKade.)
Did I mention he’s a lumberjack? (One might also call him a forest cowboy. He likes salmon, too… preferably pan-fried.)
Twenty stories above the forest floor, they’ll meet, and sparks will fly. (Figuratively, of course. This is, after all, a tree.)
Back on solid ground, trouble is brewing, the body count is growing and menacing evil fast approaches! (And it’s not a bear.)
To survive, Meadow and Cutter will have to rise above their differences and determine what’s behind it all. (Not the simplest of tasks when…)
In the process, they’ll fall in love. (It’s inevitable.)
