Zombie Blood: People don't care, until they lose thier heads.
an excerpt
To quote that famous movie, every night the dream is the same. I slowly walk through an empty room, not in hurry, but not relaxed. Then I see her, she is standing away from me, her brown hair, hung over her shoulder. I always tell myself to stop, but my body doesn’t listen. I keep walking tension building, and then she turns. She eyes me with a bright smile on her face, I mistake that smile for happiness. She raises her long fingers and coaxes me over to her. Then my heart beats faster as I remember what’s going to happen.
And suddenly her smile turns into a leer, a smug leer, leading me to my death. I know what is going to happen, yet I walk to her and place my hands on her face, She looks about fourteen here, no older than me. Her cool skin feels slightly clammy beneath my hands as she buys more time.
‘It’s about time,” she says in her soft teasing voice. I open my mouth to speak, but she presses a finger to my lips.
‘Hush, don’t speak,” I know that if I want to live I should run now, but I s imply pull her into my arms and give her a tight embrace.
‘Good night sweetie.’ She says as she stabs a knife into my heart. My body goes limp, I cannot move, and as I fall to the ground she laughs, and weeps, both at once.
I curse myself for letting her do it, for not enacting my revenge, but as everything goes black I see another woman, She is tall and skeletal, dressed in all white, a veil covers her face. She walks over to me and puts her face close to mine. I try to speak, to ask for help, but as the woman lifts her veil, I know it’s too late.
