Brief Author Bio: I love writing. Stories have always played a huge part in my life. I am always running story ideas threw my head and living eternally in a fantasy world. Most of my fantasy worlds are fanfics of some of my favorite books, TV shows and comics. I am forever inspired by the people around me, just the omniscent narrator and acute observer of human nature and life. Several of my friends have inspired my best characters and many of their characteristics shine brightly in the 2D images i create from them. They can personally identify with the character they are based on and only refer to the characters as themselves. It really helps when i am stuck. I am giving my all to my novel this year (except the energy I have to give to homework as an high school junior in multiple AP classes). I hope this year will still hold the awesome power and excitement that i had the first time i reached 50,000 words. I also hope my story doesn't suck (like last year's) and makes me feel inspired to push through to the end. |

Synopsis: Through the Wall
A young women of the city of Hemmingshire, England, has always felt left out because she doesn't feel apart of the community, even though she has a few loving friends. One day, something comes through the great stone arch of the wall. The mortal realm and the realm of Faerie are only separated by the old stone wall with the one arched openning. Curious, she approuches it, but it attacks her and leaves her branded with a strange symbol. Because the monster did not kill her, she is ostrisized from her community because the townsfolk thinks she is a witch. The town leaders sentence her to death, the actual brand unknown to them because the girl keeps it hidden. The night before her execution, the young woman is kidnapped by a gremlin and taked through the wall in Faerie on the order of the UnSeelie Queen. The beast that had branded the mortal girl was sacred to the Faerires and they are now angry that the mortal was branded instead of one of their own. Now, with the help of a Seelie Court knight, she must protect her soul from the mortal hating Faeries of the Unseelie court and figure out why she was marked by the beast, an Azgul. Along the way, she finds out her true parentage and learns to understand the underlying feelings of the dashing knight of the Seelie court, with whom she starts out with on the adventure and eventually falls in love with.
Excerpt: Through the Wall
“Love,” the Azgul replies. “Your ability to love passionately and to do anything out of love for others. Your need to sacrifice yourself to keep the ones you love safe. You love without expecting love in return. Love is what these worlds need and you are the one who will give it to them.”
“Love?” she asks, stunned by what he said.
“Yes. Love and nothing more.”
