Brief Author Bio:

Me in a nutshell: I'm crazy.
No, it's true! Anyone who attempts to write 50,000 words in a month (much less actually does it) has to be crazy... right?
Well, other than that, I'm probably your typical teenage girl. Plus a bit more nerdiness than "typical". That comes from being in band (and being able to play at least 6 different instruments).
My life is composed of three parts: the people, the words, and the music.
Important people include the obvious, like my family, as well as Fade, my bestest friend in the whole world.
The words mean just that; writing, reading, etc. I'm a bookworm to the core. Being a writer, you almost have to be.
Music is pretty simple as well. I listen to just about everything (including rap, though not much) and play music as well. I claim contra alto clarinet as my main instrument, though I've played clarinet longer than anything. I played bass clarinet for solo once. I play tenor and bari sax for jazz band. I've marched bari sax (most fun marching season EVER). I've also played bassoon in concert band for a semester.
STEPHEN KING IS GOD.
Well, and Nightwish. And chocolate.
Which, speaking of god, I'm an agnostic bordering on atheist.
I believe that people who think gays should go to hell need to go there themselves. In my opinion, it's just as bad as Hitler and the Jews. It's the same sort of persecution.
If I absolutely had to claim a religion, it would be Buddhism. Karma works pretty well, don't you think?
At this point, my plan is to be a computer engineering major in college (class of 2010, woot!). That could change. I've always wanted to try computer animation...
I have the most amazing art teacher in the world. We learn everything from science to history in my art class. And the teacher is John Lennon's twin. Almost. Or thinks he is, anyway.
Anyway, I guess being a writer, nothing can ever be "brief", can it? =]

Synopsis: Bridging the Atlantic

The Atlantic: a newly formed band at the local University, comprised of brothers and friends. When they get the opportunity to tour the world, it's no suprise that they accept the offer. They were ready for fun, adventure, and a chance to share their music with the world. What they weren't prepared for were the challenges, the hardships, and the tradegies that would seemingly plague them the entire tour. Can they manage to pull everything together, and make it through the tour? Or will they crash and burn like so many other bands have done?
