Brief Author Bio:

Was born in New Castle, Australia; grew up in various places like Atlanta, Canada, Perth, Sydney. I've always enjoyed telling stories - from scaring my little brother with ghost stories at night or writing in my diary about the cute new boy in 4th grade. Now, I am religiously taking part in NaNo every year. When I was fifteen, I moved to Madrid and lived there for a year, but I have returned here to Perth where I was hoping to complete my senior year. Now school is over for good, and I can focus on my 50,000 words this November. Have fun guys.

Synopsis: Fire and Water

It basically involves a group of pirates stumbling across a deserted island and the adventure goes from there :P its more than just a Pirates of the Caribbean story though - soooo much more ^^ but you have to find out after november!

Excerpt: Fire and Water

“Rufus, cut it out,” I complained. “What kind of practical joke are you playing this time?”
He didn’t answer, but when I spoke, his head snapped abruptly around to look at me, and the look on his face almost made me fall out of bed. He looked positively furious. His eyes continued to look absent, but his mouth was twisted into a snarl which was something entirely alien to me. Rufus was a light-hearted, bubbly pirate who was only capable of experiencing good emotions, nothing like the fury or hate which was displayed in his features as he continued to stand in the threshold. The look on his face terrified me, but before I was even sure of what I was seeing, Rufus shook his head as if trying to shake off drowsiness. He stretched and yawned.
