Dark clouds rolled across the night sky. The City of the Sky was being plunged into the darkness of a great storm. Young children ran through the streets and into their warm homes and shop keepers quickly closed their stalls and businesses. But tonight something very important had happened to this city.

Lady Manami had given birth to twins that very night. The heirs to the rule of the city and they would be the protectors of the Country of the Shinobi. Manami held Toshiro, the child that came second, while her husband and the ruler of the Sky City, Yuudai, held the first son Takeo.

“The Legendary Brothers of the Blade have at last come to our world to protect us and our allies. Just as my Father predicted.” Yuudai said proudly.

Manami nodded slowly. “Yes…but their future is dark in my eyes, Yuudai.” She said.

Yuudai looked at his tired wife as she stared sadly at Toshiro. “Ah Manami, you are weary. Let Konan take care of Toshiro while you rest, and you had best leave your foreboding for later.” Yuudai said.

Konan, the niece of Yuudai and Manami, took the child in her arms and left the room with Yuudai so that Manami could rest. But she found it hard. She could see something would happen. Then lightning flashed and thunder rolled. Manami shivered.

“What will happen? What will become of the Sky City and the people who dwell here?” She wondered sadly.
