Excerpt: Of Earth, Hell, Heaven, The Land of Milk and Honey and the Escape Thereof

They say the road to Hell was paved with good intentions. Turns out that was the road to Heaven; the road to Hell was paved by the local authorities and thus had no intentions of doing anything really, merely pretending to fill in potholes for days on end before giving up.
Then, Satan hired some more competent people and fired the local council, which was odd, as no one employed them in the first place.
