I haven't written enough to even have an interesting excerpt... but if you're still reading... here's a teaser.....

Jesse, a young man heading into the summer before his Sr year of high school, decides to go to his grandparents' ranch for the summer to work after getting word that Grandpa was injured and can't work for several weeks.

His best friend Max is in shock - "How could you pass up hot girls at the pool for hot stinky cattle?" Next thing he knows, he agrees to join his friend for the summer.

After a near tragedy along the way.....they arrive....

Jesse finds a hand written manuscript for what looks like a science fiction novel Grandma has written. As he reads it, he starts to notice some strange things about his grandparents, their lives... and his own.....
