Synopsis: Children of the Forest

Lihe, a forest dweller girl, sets out to find her sisters. Upon arriving at the capital city of Naralia, she promptly falls captive to Ran, captain of guard of the new ruler - a bastard who has snatched the throne from the legitimate daughter of the late king. She learns that King Aranel plans to 'free' the land from magical creatures, and Ran is going to make it happen, in hopes that the King doesn't pay attention to his own lineage. It is up to Lihe to convince him to help.

A mask maker / shapeshifter, a wolf bonded to Ran and others join in to see the false King thrown down and the real Queen taking the throne and Lihe's sisters along with other captives safely returned home, although she herself can never go back.
