Synopsis:

Ragna is a young flying dragon, only 198 solars old, of the tribe called Aeros. There are two other tribes on the planet Pangaeon: Terras and Aquos. The political power of the Senate is divided evenly between the three tribes.

Ragna is just beginning the first solar of her 50 solar term as a Senator on Pangaeon. She believes the Senate is headed in the wrong direction, and that she can change things for the better. But she's so new to politics, and so young, that she has trouble getting anyone to listen to her. To complicate matters, her parents have chosen a drake for her to marry, one she's never even met. To Ragna, this is just another example of how backward Pangaeon is compared to the rest of the galaxy. Between fighting the Senate and fighting the arranged marriage, Ragna hardly has time to think about herself, about what she really wants for her life...until he comes along...

Lindorm is a Terras in his second term in the Senate. He blocks Ragna at every turn, but she finds her frustration turning to fascination. She discovers that, as progressive as she thinks she is, she holds to the old taboo that dragon tribes don't mix. She must overcome not only society's restrictions, but her own as well if she is going to find true happiness.
