Daniel in the Lion's Den
an excerpt
I'd labeled this story as mainstream but it's more Inspirational/Romance/Suspense. I want the story to inspire people to do more for God, but at the same time I want to add suspense and crime elements. Christians do face crime and mystery.
Daniel Billings climbed out of his rented Toyoto Corolla and stood staring at the church building he’d been unable to get out of his mind. Lucee, Jonathan, Alison—especially Alison—all held special places in his heart. He would be the first to acknowledge it was their prayers that brought him through the last 12 months of horror as the rehab turned his life off the meth pills and cleaned out his system. Thank God, he could now face these friends with a clear heart and conscience.
