Brief Author Bio: I live in South Florida, and have been here for eleven years. I am from Southern California, and consider myself a Californian through and through. My biggest passion are my dogs. I adore them. I have Dobies and Aussies, and we do all sorts of fun things together, from basic obedience to agility. I love to write about my dogs. Blogging about them is as easy as breathing. What's hard about writing is novel writing. I would really love to make money in this endeavor being I've turned from a sun-streaked blonde to a silver-streaked "blonde" writing through the stages of my life. I need to find that niche that will let me lose myself in creating, but still has {gulp} commercial value. Wondering if it's out there. |

Synopsis: Oliver's Ghost
Oliver's a Doberman. Oliver's former owner is found dead, and when Holly Boswell fosters him for the rescue group she volunteers for, she finds someone is communicating with her from beyond this world, and it turns out to be Oliver's former owner. He's got some secrets to tell Holly. As little as she wants anything to do with ghosts or solving what turns out to be a murder mystery, she's in for the count because Oliver's grown on her. And as long as Oliver's around, so is Oliver's Ghost.

Then the phone rang. It was June. “Hey. I’m in a jam. I know you’re doing this writing thing, and you said no dog sitting this month, however, I’m in a jam.”
“You said that.”
“Oh. Well, I wanted to be sure that point was clear. Because I wouldn’t be calling you otherwise.”
“I know. What’s your jam?”
“Raven and Oliver. Their owner’s just been taken to the hospital and they have no family to speak of. Owner’s been a contributing member for over 20 years, and though she didn’t get either of these dogs from us, she has put us in her will. The dogs have no place to go. Can they stay with you until she’s out or I can find another place for them? My fosters are full and I’m packed.”
The part about DRAGG being in her will was substantial. I know. Getting a contributor for anyone’s cause was hard. “What’s she in for?”
“Not sure. I’ll let you know when I find out. I do know she’ll be in over night at least. Being Sam and Delila are leaving shortly, I thought maybe…?”
Of course I couldn’t say no. I’ve had as many as a dozen dogs living with me, so what’s three? Especially being two would be temporary. I’ll treat my writing as if it would take the time up of four dogs. That’s only seven total. I could handle five more, but wouldn’t tell that to June.
I sighed. “Well, it’s doable, but...”
“Mother of God! Thank you.”
