Ithicans are the creators of imagination, spreaders of creativity and creators of worlds. They are like small scale gods yet not so grand and they are fading out of existence. They are not mortal, not seen, in line with muses and such, more an idea than actual beings.

The mortal Ithican was the Fallen Ithican's (Ithicans who have given in to the Darkness) idea of ridding the Darkness of the last Ithican, fuse it with a mortal soul so that by the time he realizes his influence and power on the world he's already become too old to use his power or too set in his beliefs to change them.

The fallen await the birth of the the plague of Darkness, a sort of virus born of the loss of the Ithicans and Ithicans are extinguished by the lack of belief, a person denying dreams or aspirations. The lack of faith.

Rather than spreading creativity the Fallen spread despair in the wake of the final Immortal Ithican's work. As the final Immortal Ithican's are extinguished by the despair the Fallen spread it is up to the chosen MORTAL Ithican to fight the fallen and embrace his soul's destiny. If he succeeds the world will become the place it should be, full of ideas, potential and dreams, if he fails and the Fallen are allowed to continue their work the world will fall victim to the Darkness.
