Synopsis: Dancing With Fireflies

Twenty years ago, a young girl gave birth to a daughter. She was only fifteen, a child still herself. Unable to care for the baby, she signed the adoption papers relinquishing her newborn, and the tiny baby girl was placed in the arms of a couple who couldn't conceive, but wanted a child more than anything.

The little girl grew up with the best of everything; a private education, toys, books and plenty of activities. To the outside world, she was loved and cared for and had the proverbial silver spoon. But as she got older, underneath it all there lay a constant turmoil. Forbidden to talk of her adoption to anyone she struggled to fit into a family that didn't look or act like her. Like many adopted children, she wondered about the woman who gave her life. She longed to ask questions, but the answers never came.

All grown up and gazing into the eyes of her own newborn baby girl, she is filled with a love so raw and pure, she cannot imagine what it would be like to hand over this precious gift from God. She is filled with an overwhelming need to discover her roots, to find out how she came to be and why all those years ago, she was given away.

Will she find the answers she is looking for? Will she be able to discover her place in the world, or will the door once again close on the questions she desperately needs the answer to?

Follow along in her struggling journey to find her birth mother, as she discovers pieces she never knew she was looking for.

This is a story filled with faith, hope, love and self-discovery. Everyone longs for a place in this world, will she find hers too?
