As soon as one foot is out the door I start to run. Not the kind of running that people do to get in shape. I don't even mean the kind of running you do when you're trying to break the Olympic Gold Record. No, this an entirely different kind of running. This is the kind of running you do when you're trying to run away from something. Hey, if I'm metaphorically running away, I might as well literally run too, right? I don't even bother to warm up first. I don't mind the cramps, in fact, I actually kind of like them. The pain in my calves help the pain in my head feel less intense. I put on a playlist of angry music. Running through the pain while listening to angry music is one of my favorite things to do. Call me a masochist or whatever. All I know is I started to feel better right away.
