Synopsis: Imenand
A hundred years ago, a group that was once dismissed as a cult rose up and took over a country, throwing everyone into concentration camps, reasoning that it was for everyone’s own good. The King and Queen were killed, but the Queen’s sister managed to sneak out of the palace with the prince and a servant.
Generations later, Azara and Eade are living in that very same camp. After stealing supplies from the storehouses to trade on the underground market, and getting stuck in a thorny, overgrown alleyway, they discover that are able to use magic.
Their lifelong friend turns out to be a part of something so incredible, they have no choice but to say yes when he asks them to join. They set off to Imenand, along with the sarcastic and moody descendant of a hidden bloodline, and, on the journey, meet up with a reluctant accomplice who wanted nothing more than to get to where Azara and Eade just came from and live as normal a life as she can under the circumstances.
Going to Imenand was not in her agenda, and neither was going on a chase that took them all further away from home than they ever wanted.
