Synopsis: Anonymous
my name is alexander for your alessandros and iliadne because i, big brother brother, am the serpent to your eden and you, my darling eve, will fall, fall
life is endless and so will be death.
my life for yours. fair?
and even especially in the dark, i can't tell who you are or if it's me or you
dear diary.
i lived to be named after him, always him
looking over his shoulder and i'm standing in the shadows because
(brother, brother)
the sun's gone down
and why do i hate you so if you are me and i am you?
pretty pretty, can't remember
they said memories were bad so they took
mine and made them yours--
it's true.
dear diary.
edvaryn is dead.
my name is alexander.
hi rosie. did i hurt you?
-- anonymous.
Excerpt: Anonymous
There's something special about memories that no photographs, no videos can ever replicate. I don't know what I'm saying, but you probably do. You always got me before I knew what I was looking for.
I remember--and it's pretty clear, almost like those glossy, freshly printed photos or the smoothly running pictures--but I remember something you said once, in that weirdly condescending tone of yours (not really--I guess it was more like a gentle, know-it-all kind of way). Something about, "You know, Brother, summers are always special times."
I never realised, but you're right. It's always summer when something happens.
At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if we died in summer, too.
