Excerpt: These Triggers Ache

Sara had never been happier that her family home lay on the outskirtrs of the town, to far out to be noticed by many. While her head spun and her body ached with the need to lay down, there was no one in the vacinity other than John to see her stumble along the land only to have John pull her close to him to steady her until she pulled away again. He never called her on her weakness or her sturboneness, just stayed close enough to catch her when she nearly fell and far enough away to ensure her independence and false show of strength.

Since she was old enough to understand, she had always been grateful of her parent's decision, and perhaps stunted foresight, to build their home on the outskirts of the town, isolated from the generally insanity of people. Stunted only due to living anywhere close to the town wich had quickly gorged itself on the cruelty of the surronding Nations.
