Synopsis: Toemas and the Repeat of History
The year is 2893, the human race is obsolete and the planet is ruled peacefully by the animals of the world - thanks to nuclear reactions from the wars that obliterated humanity in 2063 and evolution.
Elected King Rupert has done well to keep the nations of the world at peace, but the manipulative Seaendithas convinces the leader of the United Amphibian Alliance that a gorilla has no place in the elected monarchy. Animosities escalate and the world sees itself on the verge of another nuclear war unless Professor Zek, a badger who teaches history; and his good friend Toemas, a fox involved in environmentalism, can appeal to the animal races of the world before it's too late.
Excerpt: Toemas and the Repeat of History
“The human race had always been on the brink of extinction, without ever realizing it. The venom and the carnage this race displayed toward its own kind slowly began escalating throughout the 21st century. Between the insane dictators conducting mass genocides of their people, humans with such a thirst for blood they go on serial killing sprees, the opposing humans on each side of a war, and simply the humans who were in such little control of their emotions, they kill out of passion; it was a surprise that the human race lasted as long as it did."
